The deaths of more than a million people in Nigeria as a result of the brutal civil war which ended exactly 50 years ago are a scar on the nation's history.
For most Nigerians, the war over the breakaway state of Biafra is generally regarded as an unfortunate episode best forgotten, but for the Igbo people who fought for secession, it remains a life-defining event.
Many Igbo still feel sidelined in Nigerian politics, as since the civil war no-one from the ethnic group has become president.
Increasing cries of marginalisation have led in recent years to the emergence of Igbo groups agitating once again for secession, particularly the Indigenous People of Biafra (Ipob), formed by UK-based British-Nigerian Nnamdi Kanu.

Fifty years after the nigerian civil wat war igbos are still economically comfortable than any region in Nigeria. Their individualism is miraculous and needs to be applauded. No ethnic group in the world would go into a civil war defeated and still come out competitive like the Igbo nation.

Igbo individualism encourages citizens to pursue individual freedom of expression and
radical republicanism (having legal and political implications) and to seek recognition and
wealth (having socio-economic implications).

This cultural value of individualism is what
makes Igbos notoriously independent and egalitarian in their political life, in which they
reject the idea of kingship in exchange for leadership by consensus. This value also makes
Igbos very entrepreneurial in the business sense.

The Igbo wants to build wealth and
loathes failure. Their quest for prestige and honor drives them to work hard. The Igbo
inclination toward industry and their desire to avoid the shame that failure brings causes
them to be efficient. In this utilitarian worldview, Igbos are maximalists and are obsessed
about wasting nothing.

The problem with you igbos is chestbeating and haughty bully..

Go to Iraq, Syria, Afghan, etc... to see what they survive from the consistent attack from the westerners. Even some African countries.

All these bully trait makes mockery of your rightful and just cause.. Stop the brag and bully.

You called them monkeys when blacks like you are well known for it due to animalistic behaviours? You have a big log in your eyes..

My hatred for Igbos is not true, false claim.. Your hatred for the piercing truth disannuls your identity with God and is a self inflicting mental and psycological sickness..

You can't win a just cause with bullous and haughty contaminating disease. Others reacts based on your contagion rate infecting them. Its tit-for-tat and you can't win by it.

I'm sorry, heal yourself first... Others will respond based on it.
