You've already told them even before you get there that "no be my kind dem dey find here" through your actions and inactions. YOU are why people disregard, and look you with utter disdain. For you to earn others' respect, RESPECT YOURSELF FIRST bro. For example if he is a software programmer with the right skillset and experience (especially abroad), dude would be earning fine and living nice, driving a nice ride and probably living in his own house. your nature shouldn't worry you, you should worry more on how to get better, how to make money, if you have money all the respect in this world will be yours, who no get money na boy, talking of beards, oga be careful of what you wish, we weh get am don tire, shaving everyday and fighting bumps, and the thicker voice you are looking for will definitely not guarantee you anything.. It's not a matter of your look. What matters is how you carry yourself and how you relate with people. Some people have adult shape but toddlers brain while some others have baby face but are intellectually sounds d and mature.

You can with your own effort gain in thinking and maturity what nature has enied you in hight.

I equally babe babby face with small body frame and I never for once thought of boosting my courage or asserting my position with deep voice (which I obviously don't have) or any other posture. In fact, people tend to respect me and my opinion. So it's no about your hight it's about you.
