Even those Federal Government companies like Refineries (P/Harcourt Refinery) or Nigeria National Shipping Line were established after 1966.


As at 1966;

Nigeria Nigeria had No dual carriage Express way, 5 universities and 3 Teaching Hospitals , about 10,000 Telephone lines and Adult literacy Rate of about 25%.

Very few Nigerians had Vehicles, only provisional Capitals had access to electricity, most intra-city roads were untarred. Less 5% of Nigerians had Television sets and 7000 Military Force. Only very few people outside the Country have ever had of anywhere called Nigeria
