So today I was poking around in my family old stuffs when I stumbled on my grandma's wooden box. I opened it I found a lot of interesting stuffs inside. There's this small bag that contains old Nigerian currency, both note and coins. It pained me somehow because thats a cool cash back in the days.

Until IBBastard came on board.

Grand ma tried. You can sell them as antiquity. Don't be surprised that some old items xolle for might come to you or buy them. Most people typing here never saw those notes and coin and never knew how valuable they were when in use.

Wow... 1 naira notes... Nostalgic.!

Ten kobo that was later changed to brown and the size reduced to 5kobo.

Then 1naira changed into those heavy coins. That thing can weigh down mens pockets?? We Used to shake daddy's breast pocket for coins those days.

My first school money was 5kobo. Very tiny dull coin.

Here's 50 kobo. Big girls money then. My elder sis used to shakor with this note.
brooo this is 50k

The current value of those 5pcs of N1 notes would've bn like N50,000 or N500,000 today.

Mama would have "saved" our dying economy from this incompetent administration.

Imagine Mama as the current Minister of Economy.
