A 38-year-old man, Oladimeji Ayodele, was on Tuesday remanded at the Correctional Centre on the orders of an Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrate for the alleged rape of a fourteen-year-old girl. The defendant, of no fixed address, is standing trial on charges of rape. Earlier, the prosecutor, Insp. Johnson Okunade told the court that the defendant committed the offense on Aug. 8 in Ado-Ekiti.
