So I got this iphone 6s plus that was stuck in boot loop.. I took it to an engineer and he tried flashing it but was unable to..

So he recommended another engineer which said it was a power IC Issue. That it would cost 15k.

But after repair my phones memory changed From 64gb to 16gb and the engineer is insisting that it was the fault that changed the memory

Please is this possible? Or have been SCAMMED.

its either the engineer changed the panel, or the person that sold it to u in bootloop lied about the memory capacity.

Nothing like reduction in memory becos of fault

1st the device is mine and started rebooting it'self while I was using it. So the memory was 64gig.
2nd the device was wiped when I collected it and I still had to use my apple ID to unlock it.

very possible.
Am a software engineer.
The phone memory was corrupt.
There's a possibility that after fixing it the memory capacity will reduce.
Likewise ram too.

When you change most vehicle engine, the vehicle can never perform to factory capacity again.

That's what might have happened to your phone.

It's only a mad engineer that will sell iPhone 6plus panel to you for 15k.

The panel was not changed.

Probably he changed the CPU.

I'm speaking from the vehicle engines I have changed.
Infact when I notice my engine is getting weak, I sell off.
I have one car for sell now.
