Why the noise? Work is still ongoing. People just generally believe it’s trendy to complain

There are three different projects happening at Enugu Airport that I know of:

1. The runway is being reconstructed - this is what is being commissioned
2. The old / existing airport terminal Is being renovated - this is work in progress
3. A new terminal building is being built from scratch by CCECC - this is work in progress

Our journalists need to do better with communicating / explaining these things. It is three different projects being handled by different contracts with different completion dates.

Igbo leaders and their penchant for frivolity, igbos see those are that are responsible for your problem are your leaders, they gather to celebrate mediocrity.

Check if your reasoning is okay. Federal Government project! How does the executioner turn Igbos?

Your hatred for Igbos has robbed you of common reasoning.

I don't know why people may chose not to appreciate, the major focus of the work was on the runway, but you keep displaying picture of the building area, are you an aviation expert, does the interiors decide safe landing, we love it like that, what about when we used to fly it the way it used to be, the most important thing is that there is improvements and that safety standards are observed

This is the usual modus operandi of our leaders.

They commission uncompleted projects and abandon us to our fate.

Things are becoming clearer now because Nigerians are getting bolder and interested in how the government is being run.

A revolution is imminent, either from IPOB or Nigerians as whole, but it's gonna happen.

We are wiser now

Ibos with their herd mentality and penchant for falsehood and blackmail! What is being commissioned is the runway that Stella Oduah diverted its funds during the last administration. An airport cannot function without a runway, hence the non-operational status of the airport for over a year. Now that the runway has been fixed, normal flight operations can commence while the terminal building in the picture is completed. These same guys complaining here have been blackmailing the FG for 'deliberately' keeping the airport non-functional because of hatred for SE grin
Now the FG has responded by fixing the most essential part of the work, so that flight operations can commence, and these cretins are still making noise.
What exactly do you people want??

No idea. Though It’s not wrong to commission projects in piece meal, but they could have been clearer in their communication that this is only one of several projects at the airport complex. The runway is the most important one as without it airplanes can’t land, I guess that’s why they went ahead. We should also acknowledge that in Nigeria projects are seldom ever used before they are commissioned.
