Me trying to understand if this is an insult or admiration to our technology cry
I guess they were trying to save the cost of transporting them if they were made or brought from Germany. Instead they decided to buy them nearby..

Original Nigerian Technology grin grin

Stew-pid country manned by useless and clueless herdsmen

Back in the day, China was the country that made useless products and useless stuff

In the 1950s, Japanese cars were a.joke in the USA.

And once upon a time, Samsung made useless knockoffs for the global market

Guess where they are now.

You are cursing your country because the set of looters you backed lost out. Better stop worshipping politicians

Yes, Chad is "landlocked", but what about the Lake Chad? Don't you know that it is an international border and as such, Chad has tiny flotillas patrolling it as part of their national security strategy??

You don't even know your geography.

Go back to school and start from primary 1.

Some of you here on NL are nothing but illiterates. Look at how you are trying very hard to expose your ignorance!

Your dilector maybe has wiped your brain so you don't see anything good happening around you. Is it in your village they assembled the boats?

it's cost efficient buy from Nigeria and shipping to Chad, than from Germany

Nigeria tries this time, actually those boats are quite impressive

Let me add to this. The Germans obviously know the Nigerian boats should be far cheaper than the more sophisticated ones they're used to.

The intention is clear and honest. They obviously want to assist and support Chad which is a good thing.

But this is just very typical of the White man. Since they're not going to use the boats, why spend so much on super sophisticated boats on Chad, when they can do so for a much more superior Country in Europe just to gain their alliance.

Rather, they chose to buy affordable boats from a neighbouring Country (Nigeria) and hand over to Chad.

-No money was spent on shipping the boats from Europe to Africa. In other words, they spent very little on logistics.

-Chad would still see this as a big gesture no matter where the boats come from. (As far as their concerned, Germany cares about them (a great feat in the African Political context)).

-Germany has killed 2 birds with one stone (Increased positive relations with Nigeria and supporting Chad).

Smart Oyibo People... Unlike our African leaders, they're always thinking of tomorrow and thinking ahead.

Dedetwo:
Nigeria's silly scenario at play. Chad is landlocked as most foolish Nigerians would be ready to proclaim. Germans are funny too. They bought a high technological product and gifted to Chad. Maybe the Germans did not find the wielded up boats river worthy so they assigned them to lake usage. Germans are very smart though.

Ain't surprised, German machines will never use boats made by cut and nail Engineers.

We should even thank them for the patronage, they only did it to encourage our Engineers. I wish other oyibo countries could patronize Innoson as well, our Igbo brother is trying.

I know Nigeria is often listed as one of Chad's "Foreign suppliers"[Germany isn't on the list]... as far back as I can remember, they sometimes got stuff from DICON.

But... perhaps, the Chadian couldn't afford to pay for the boat so the Germans had to step in to get it for them.

There are people out there with some cash who’s go to okirika-bend down select, buy loads of footwears and clothes not because they’d wear but to donate to less privilege people.

Haven’t you seen people who would go to deprived areas like Ajegunle, Okokomaiko, Ajangbadi, buy plates of foods off mama put for tens of hungry kids but they wouldn’t sit by the drainage and sewer eating same food?

How do you expect Germany to buy those boats when they are the king of engineering?
