This very useless organisation is becoming a neusans to the Country. Are you telling me professors can't find any other way to negotiate with the govt apart from going on strike. They dont find ways to solve the problem but always contribute to it. Instead to discuss and reason where to go from here to find a solution. Those irresponsible members just open their gutters and talk any how. Okay now let's wait till covid cases reaches 0. Meanwhile govt must ensure suspension of any payments to them.

you people are funny. is it now that all is tired of staying home that ASUU know that infrastructure need to be fixed? they have been fighting for their pocket since March only to device means of making the agitation acceptable to public by bringing the infrastructure things. why can't they say that schools need to be equip during general election when they eagerly serve INEC as ad-hoc staff? or can't they boycott inec job to pressurise govt. ASUU are only fighting for money in their pockets.
we all should know that human being are hypocrites and secondly I think we should let the people decide , if u ask some people parents no be everybody go release their children to go and face the uncertainty at school for now, I can only ask the government to do everything to assure the masses that we are all safe especially the children, if it's politics as usual, make Dem stop e don do but if truly the Virus is in Nigeria, they should strengthen their fight against this virus and get the going running as they will also be affected later..life has to continue but not with a risk of health , if the health is at risk then how life wan continue

Not judging you by your syntax but your semantics. From what you have just put down, it is obvious that you don't know the value of education and have really been deprived of quality education.

That's what our leaders want, a pop that lacks knowledge.

I have said this, ASUU is the second problem we have in the university sub-sector after FG, a union filled with old crooks whose only weapon in it arsenal is strike.

Ask them why they always go on strike, they tell you they are fighting for the students, what an irony.

What happened to non particaption in government activities like elections as a way to push their demands, but those old crooks would rather receive bribes from politicians to rig.

FG should go ahead and open universities for final year students then ask them to resume work by meeting some of their demands, any lecturer who fails to resume should be sacked.

Old thiefs.....

the fg will never listen to them unless there is a strike, the way things are going, very soon you will be paying 500k as school fees as fg is not interested in public universities anymore. look at what happened to those public schools over the years, everyone goes to private schools now.

You and the government think alike.
Very illogical thinkers.
Over 6 months and they can't still put things in order.
I don't know y a fraction of Nigerians can't think outside the box.
You are mentioning war, mentioning Kenya and Ghana.
Are you at war??
Are you any of those countries.
Some of you just come out and make unreasonable comment.
If you are asked when is the right time for resumption you'll mention when vaccines are ready. So we should stay at home for years when the rest of the world is moving on. The international airports and schools which is more delicate to open.

If they give the Nigerian government 2 years to prepare we'll still arrive at the same conclusion.

what am saying is that ASUU of this present days in Nigeria are only fighting for themselves and nothing more. all the excuses they are giving is just to gain public sympathy and not the genuine desire to improve the system. is it not from ASUU that we have school Senate, VC and deans? or do VC of a school need to protest before he can develop? I don't want to go far.

saying that parents won't release students is funny. do the parents not release younger ones for waec? are people not applying for military and police jobs now. did people not apply for npower and even praying that they should start quickly. are people not warming up for the 774000 jobs of FG? and all this inside covid 19.

Bros let's agree that ASUU are too selfish and they are using dubious means to achieve their aims.

some people will not like this but let's be honest with ourselves, instead of mounting pressure to open schools when we ain't sure of the safety, why don't we pressurize the government to fix our education sectors with good and standard facilities, each states should take responsibility of putting things in place, it can't be looting Everytime, they need to fix things ..this is the best time for government to empower the graduates with enough respurces to go into agriculture..this will help the economy back before Things get back to norm..work with telecommunication companies to reduce the cost of data, talk to each local government to provide a hall in different locations that will be closer to every child to pick up their daily guides and classroom task to be sorted and return back for submission with proper social distancing while the graduates are busy doing something to boost tge economy before things get back, we will be surprise that we will have a good economy when the world is finally back running.. government make una think of one strategic way na, make una lead time well

Bros you sef think am. Deep down in your heart, do you think the government would do any of these. Each time you ask yourself that you'll get no as the answer.
Most of us have survived without the government, and we'll continue to survive without them.
Do you think the government don't know what they are doing?
Anyone hoping on the government is deceiving themselves.
Let them open everywhere let's cater for our health.
We can't keep staying at home.
Give the government 2 years to prepare it'll still be the same story.
But they can run political rallys and love-vendor up airports to be safe. SMH for this country.

Kindly stay home when school resume. It's not by force to resume.

if you feel losing an academic year is nothing to you, no problem. Don't ask others to lose theirs too.

Rubbish! you probably aren't a student. You'll just be running your mouth writing epistles while our house rent and academic year burns.

very selfish people fighting for their pockets and making it looks like they are the good people.. if lecture rooms will be crowded, can't you resume in tranches or batches? can't you bring back 100l and final year, then later 200 and 300L? what do you benefit from keeping the entire students at home waiting for safe reopening? there's never gonna be any safe reopening not even in 5years time.. selfish set of black bigots..

Oga keep mute if you don't know what to say...Ever since schools were closed, people had not died abi? Is Corona the only ailment that kills people? This thing is just blown out of proportion here in Nigeria..Schools are closed, yet campaigns and elections will still take place. who are we deceiving? Banks, airports and other organizations all fully functional.. Perhaps, it can only be contacted in schools..Stop being myopic, this People are just playing with our heads.

If the virus was as real as hyped, plenty of us would be dead by now, because Nigeria was never in any real lockdown. And we sure never really practice any social distancing or even use nose mask that much. Except for April when it first started, it n3ver appear here like there's any deadly virus out there. So delaying resumption to next year is foolishness, and when next year comes, they can further extend it till a vaccine is found right? Smh

Fact is, ASUU are saying this because they're scared Nigerian students will come hard on them once government declare school can reopen and they refuse to go back to work. They are simply playing politics with our future.
thank you very much.. you said it all..
