Kampala Uganda - one of the most affordable City to Visit in Africa

the Continent of Africa is usually looked down upon when it
comes to the aspect of economic development, Sports and
Tourist destination. However, the reason may be justified
as it is a well known fact that Africa is an under developed
region. It keeps suffering from the burden of abject poverty,
mass illiteracy, alarming unemployment rate and bad
economic, Sexual harassment, Bad leadership and Corruption.
The sub Saharan zone which makes up a large population
happen to be at the epic center of this unpleasant reality. In
addition, the issue of bad governance coupled with corruption
further worsens ths scenario.




The good news however, is there are some exceptions to this
unfortunate situation. Many capital and major cities of African
nations happen to be the center point of attraction for the
country because of te emphasis that is usually placed on such
places.



Uganda a country located in the Eastern part of Africa whose
diverse landscape encompasses the snow-capped
Rwenzori Mountains and immense Lake Victoria. Its
abundant wildlife includes chimpanzees as well as rare
birds.Murchison Falls National Park in the northwest is known
for its waterfall and wildlife such as hippos.
Kampala regarded as the least expensive city in East Africa is
Uganda's national and commercial capital
bordering Lake Victoria, Africa's largest lake. Hills
covered with red-tile villas and trees surround an urban
centre of contemporary skyscrapers. In this downtown
area, the Uganda Museum explores the country's tribal
heritage through an extensive collection of artefacts. On
nearby Mengo Hill is Lubiri Palace, the former seat of the
Buganda Kingdom.



Sport - Kampala is home to KCCA (Kampala Capital City
Authority FC) one of the best football club in Kampala which
have played in the CAF champions league in years, and City
Oilers basketball club one of the best Basketball club in East
Africa and the only East Africa club to compete in the Africa
Basketball Club Championship.




Transport - Kampala house Entebbe International Airport, the
biggest Airport in Uganda, the popular mode of transport is
Boda-bodas (local motorbike transport) wich give access to
many area in and out the city.

You did not mention cost of Transport, Accomodations, Feeding,
