please I need suggestions on type of electric blender to buy, something at low cost and which can be used to blend ginger and other strong stuffs.

I bought one named Nulek, but unfortunately, the first time I used it, the engine started bringing out smoke.

You can get vtcl 1000 watts for #25000

Kenwood 1800watts and 2000 watts should be between 24-29000

3000 and 4500 watts silvercrest is also available depending on your budget.

The blenders mentioned above are very good and can grind both wet and dry items

I use Nkoyo blender and it's good. If you are on Instagram kindly search for Nkoyo in the search engine and you will see it. Their head office is in Lagos and they have pick up centres in some selected states.
It's a 3-1 blender and it goes for 10k

Whatever you do don't just buy anything from Jumia or Scanfrost. I bought a Scanfrost blender on Jumia on Scanfrost official store and it spoilt only after two usage.

Very irresponsible set of people.

11kv kẹ? That's like 4 times the 240volts in my house. I'd need to live in an industrial complex to grind pepper!

It sounds like a second wife.

Personally, I do not think hubby will agree to power a blender, nor would I want him to since he already has a job powering me!

If you can afford, I will suggest you get a Vitamix Commercial Blender. They are excellent, extremely rugged and versatile. You can get them brand new in Nigeria. Click on the link to view them: https://justfood.ng/product-category/equipment/vitamix/

I understand, but these blenders are extremely powerful. Someone who purchased from them referred me to them. And her testimony wowed me.

I have a large blender, but let's say I use a portable blender for cocktails or for training https://gopowerelite.cocinare.com/ . I really like its compactness, like an ordinary water bottle. You can make the necessary drink very quickly.

My advice, never buy those blenders branded as kenwood, Bosch , silvercrest, with 3000w, 4500watts, in some cases 5000watts written on the package. They are fake, and they run on Aluminium coil winding.

For 10,000naira, I think you can get those plastic jar blenders rated below 500watts. They are ok but don’t run it continuously for more than 20seconds at a blend. Use the start for 20secs and stop for 20secs technique to avoid burn out.

Don’t buy the new ones, mostly Aluminium coil in them.

You know why these blenders are so expensive ... the brand on them. The core of any blender is the power board, universal motor and a drive shaft with double oil seal and double bearing.

You can actually get a good tokunbo (50mm coil) and mount on your countertop with a metal drive shaft plus a 2 liter jar all under 25k... same par with vitamix in terms of power.
