Under Jonathan, minimum wage was 18,500 while a bag of rice was 7k which was 38% of the minimum wage. So the lowest earner could buy a bag of rice and still have some money for some other things.

Now, minimum wage is 30k ( no be everybody dey pay am sef) and rice is 32k which is over 100% of the minimum wage, and some people are still able to support buhari?

Well said.

Then people wonder why Nigeria is filled with looters, thieves and armed gunmen?

Any country would be when the people are too stupid to avoid obvious calamites like APC and Buhari.

..So you think pandemic lockdown , epileptic rain fall, global economic problems won't affect Nigeria because Buhari is your President Abi? Think again!!

Almighty Americans are battling worst unemployment crisis, and having huge social security benefits paychecks to pay, their food banks are empty yet you think Nigeria has immunity to this global issue?!

UK government has already started a policy to buy off grains and other food items from West Africa and Asia to cushion the effect of the pandemic economic meltdown and climate change

Don't let's join hands to look for solutions to this pandemic problem, keep wailing endlessly as if Buhari has a magic wand to make our crude oil start selling back above $100 per barrel and we start importing everything cheaply, and subsidising petrol and everything with crude oil dollars

..

Shame on you. Always shalayeing upandan....

You no dey shame?

Farming is the new gold mine. The economic challenges are real and deeply felt but we have to remain optimistic and see how much a blessing in disguise this is.

Do you even know rhat that the fear of herdsmen is making most nigerians not to farm for the past three years.

It was global economics, epileptic rainfall and pandemic lockdown that caused the recession during his 1st regime. Carry-on, go-on, more excuses are being awaited from the stables of zombie land.

You should understand that most posters here on nairaland are kids who don't even know the fundamentals of why the economy is in the state it is, theirs is to come and wail and insult Buhari. I guess the negative GDP growth other countries all over the world are going through are all caused by Buhari as well.

Bro. i don't want to argue with you because i don't know your level of reasoning but despite that i have a question for you, why is that this so call pandemic does not affect the bogus salary and allowance including their severance packages which is over 400 million for each minister and your senator and house of reps ?
Why not create another thread for that instead of trying to derail.

Nairaland kids will always rush in to say what they know nothing about, you try to educate them, since they know next to nothing they resort to insults.

1 mudu of rice is 1200, 1 mudu of garri is 300, 1 mudu of beans is 350, inflation has skyrocketed, fuel price hike, electricity tariff hike, salaries not increased... The Buhari government have fulfilled all their campaign promises...in reverse mode. At this point the people that still support this government can be classified into the following categories:
1. Those that are eating under the Buhari family/government.
2. Those that are naturally incompetent (thus, mirroring themselves in Buhari).
3. Sadists.
4. Those that are irredeemably dumb.
