Please, let us "problematize the problematic". Leave wives out of this and face the randy men. I don't personally see anything wrong with having a relationship with your student which may involve sex because you are consenting adults (I can't do it though), but there is everything ethically wrong with it, especially when she is still your student as this may affect your academic judgement of her performance. It is also a thing of shame as you enter a class to teach a student you had sexual relations with? Imagine if they are more. The issues here are that the sex happened in the office (desecrating the university), they filmed it and it was purportedly to inflate the student's marks. Those are legitimate grounds for a sack.
