I am black American ,I don't know my ancestors are from Nigeria or not ,but I am sure that Beyonce's ancestors are from here,and she sang Nigerian national anthem in 2006,she said "my ancestors are from here",and then she sang Nigerian national anthem, so she is Nigerian ,and she is proud of her race ,she didn't do that for money ,she was popular then,she came nigeria with Jay Z,she loves nigeria,this is her root.
