Nothing will change. Nothing will be achieved. With Lawan and Gbajabiamila working hand in hand with the president there is no hope. Unfortunately the were supported to power by civil society group and organised labour. Now the citizens appear bewitched and have lost their voices. The fear of endless detention has shut the mouths of the few who could speak up. Their supporters are so ashamed and have chosen to bear the pain of the wounds inflicted on them by their own people.

ProfAmaben:
Nigeria was set-up in such a way that nothing works properly. Who can identify one sector (govt.) that functions optimally in Nigeria?

Senate, Military, Police grin, Nscdc (shooting and killing innocent Nigerians) , DSS, SARS, Fire service grin, MDAs, NASRDA, NSITF, CBN, etc. If you look closely, all are headed by people from one region.

Nigeria shall be great one day (although I doubt)

this was how the colonial masters set it up so that there would be no form of progress in any way. Ojuwku who asked for an Aburi accord to be implemented 50+ years ago is the same person you people are still vilifying by calling a terrorist. but guess what, if you are calling Ojukwu an ememy of the state but think that restructuring and federalism is the way to make the country great again, you are a big hypocrite and dont reason based on logic and objectivity. with that being said, my rant was not directed directly at you but to anybody who my comment catches his conscience guilty.

They wailed so they avoid you wailing like this. They wailed because they see tomorrow and you see today. They wailed because they hold the real economy while you are just a hater who feels a level playing ground will favour only the people who grew the country from scratch. So are you enjoying now? So are the wailers

This is not the time to increase fuel price in our darling nation at all.

Not with all that is going on around the world, pandemic et al,
When people are finding it difficult to survive.

This is part of the same reason we voted out the party of thieves and criminals.

THIS IS NOT THE CHANGE WE VOTED FOR.

The same way we sane, honest and hardworking Nigerians praised this government when they reduced fuel price sometimes ago, we should make sure we put our voice together to castigate and talk against this.

That is the voice the government will listen to,
Not the voice of children of hate, frustration and perdition that have never seen any good thing in our country,
That all they do is to wail continously in life.
They even wailed when the price was reduced.
They have been wailing since PMB won the election, even before swearing in!
They are not wailing for the common man like (Omotola) and all other sane and honest people are doing, but they are wailing in pain that the corrupt money being shared to them by the losers they support is not forthcoming anymore.
They have been so used to corruption, they see it as a way of life.
That is what we stand against.

WE SAY NO TO FUEL PRICE INCREASE.
A better Nigeria for all is all we want.

You are a wise man. Although, my biggest problem still remains Umunnakwe Ironsi. If he had allowed Nzeogwu carry out his plan and honored their agreement, we won't be in this mess today.

It was better for Nigeria when we have no oil...graduates were begged to with with motivations
The Naira was stronger than the Dollar and equal to the pound sterling
But with oil in Nigeria, there has been much tears, sorrows and sufferings than can be imagined
The Naira from one govt to the other has become useless and irrelevant in the business world
Our Naira has been tied to the APRON of the American Dollar because they refine our BASTARD OIL!

If you believe like & share!

"We say NO to fuel increase". How do you propose this NO to work? I ask this question seeing that opposing voices have been viciously silenced.

Electricity tariff increased almost the same day. Borders permanently shut against smugglers, yet price of rice (local and imported range between 24,000 & 32,000). A total ban on CBN sorting out food imports. Far less money in the pockets of the people. Transport companies have taken advantage of covid19 rules to hike prices.

Now that you have discovered that this is not the change you people voted for, do you honestly think that the people in power today are the right ones to take Nigerians to greater heights?

When u said u want deregulation what did u think will happen. Nigerians should stop being stupid. Govt didn't increase price, what u are paying is the actual price without subsidy or regulation

Was it not ignorant Nigerians that were screaming that they wanted COOPERATION not CONFRONTATION?

Is this not the result. You hand all your aces to those on the other side and expect your opponent to keel over and capitulate.

Who then fights for you when you have handed over your bodyguard (the legislature) and your attorney (the judiciary) to your adversary at the primise of peace. Is there anything more foolish?

They have now made the citizens give up so much but they have not given up anything. They have not given up their storied culture of waste, graft and maladministration so all the money will predictably go into their bottomless pit. Only in Nigeria.

The Minister of Petroleum even had the effontery to say the money saved will be used to REHABILITATE the refineries they have been rehabilitating since 1987 (first time I started hearing that word). That is trying to awaken the beast that has devastated this country for decades instead of burning it to the ground and chasing all the rats away.

But here we are. Sentiment has disarmed the citizens are now we are cannon fidder for this APC led 'change' goverment. They will use the money for more 'school feeding', more 'pandemic palliatives', more jet setting, more 'contracting' and every disgusting and disingenuous policy they can cook up tantalise the citizens while stealing theur common wealth leaving them absolutely worse off for their sacrifices in time to come.

WHAT HAS GOVERMENT CONCEDED TO NIGERIANS IN THIS, WHAT ARE THEY GIVING UP, WHAT PLEASURES ARE THEY SACRIFICING....NOTHING.

In the past serious negotiations will preceed such monumental moves. Today, nothing. Full blown autocracy is what Nigerians voted for. The ability of the average Nigerian to control and direct his destiny is lost.

Who hands over a trillion naira of sacrifice to its goverment without asking questions or anything in return except Nigerians. China that has given us loans on behalf of its citizens is shaking our sovreignity. Our citizens are giving much more to goverment and dashing away their liberties as 'jara'. Just mind boggling.
