Current Big brother contestant, Laycon, has set a record by being the 1st ever big brother naija housemate to amass 1million followers on his instagram page, while still in the house.
The musician has generated some interest since joining the show as he had a little over 3000 followers when he walked on the big brother stage on July 19th, 2020.

Whilst he has been up for eviction every week, save once, he seems to have acquired a large amount of fans who refer to themselves as 'Icons'.
