Apple A14 Bionic vs Apple A13 Bionic Chipset: Comparison iPhone 12's A14 Bionic chip is based on TSMC’s new 5nm manufacturing process. And is capable of 11.8 billion transistors. While the 7nm SoC A13 bionic had 8.5 billion transistors. The 5nm process technology helps to achieve many more transistors in the same space. This gives us better performance in nearly every area. According to Apple, the iPhone 12's A14 chip provides more power efficiency for up to 10 hours of battery life. The 5nm node means a 15% improvement in performance and 30% improvement in power efficiency. However there are still more to answer in regards to the CPU, GPU and even AI & ML... Things is if you are using iPhone 8plus and above, the speed is always the same, they're all fast, no lags or stutters. |

If the iphone 12 mini comes with an A14 chip and amoled display, with atleast average battery life. That would be a nice device. These days no more new compact devices. (Screen <5.8") |
