etokhana: I disagree with the British. They have the right to determine who enters their country, but they cannot judge anyone who has not been convicted of electoral violence. how do they determine who to ban? Who prosecuted them? Who convicted them? Yes the UK can decide who visits their country but they cannot presume guilt of any politician before a competent trial. That is the koko. The UK is wrong on this one please. |

Visa ban for Nigerians who committed election violence is like scratching the back of the offenders. Does the Uk not see that election violence in Nigeria is a product of the rigged political structure of Nigeria favoring northern region which arrogated near veto power on the political class from the northern region? Does Great Britain not see that three regions of Nigeria it granted independent Nigeria in 1960 had been adjusted by successive northern military dictators to favor northern Nigeria, and which causes the secessionist moves in southern Nigeria? 1 Like |

Perhaps Buhari is on the ban list? How will he go for his monthly medical check up in UK now? Like someone said, the only thing left is to extend the ban to their families. 1 Like |

UK, please continue to ban them because they don't mean well for their citizens. If you need to flog them publicly, please do. 2 Likes |
