Good morning, everyone. My friend said that he bought 1000 units of UBN shares for N20, 000 in 2005. How can he calculate his returns now? The current UBN price per share is N5.15. Does this mean his returns on 20, 000 is 1000 x 5.15= N5000? That's very confusing and disturbing. Kindly help. |

The 1000 units bought may have reduced as Union Bank did a share readjustment sometimes in 2011 or thereabout. The best way to find out is by contacting the Registrar Cardinal Stone in Yaba Lagos. The good news is that you should have some outstanding dividends. |
