98years imprisonment ?

is that not an indirect way of saying-'madam, you've been sentenced to life imprisonment ?

she even deserve more than that......Dem suppose use her go do bait take set trap for zambisa forest......see her face like horror film.....

it means she will spend 14 years. that is the meaning of concurrently, not consecutivly.

U are right but I never justified the woman crime, she deserved whatever she gets but the fact remains that our justice system is ridiculous, very poor and bias

How did we get here for God's sake? Many Nigerians have soft spot for financial crimes as long as they or their family members are not the victims. She stole someone else's money, why justifying her action with what politicians are also doing? Do two wrongs make it right?
BTW: it is seven years in prison, not 98 years. Dumb, corrupt and lazy Nigerian youth.

More woes As Hushpuppi Launder Funds For North Korean Hackers.

After many years of defrauding people, companies, and nations, self-acclaimed billionaire Gucci master, Ramon Abass, better known as Hushpuppi met his waterloo in 2020 when he defrauded the US of over 100 million dollars in the middle of a pandemic.

In a joint operation with the UAE security department, INTERPOL, and the FBI, the Nigerian-born fraudster who had been disguising himself as an Instagram Influencer was arrested in his Dubai residence.

Despite his criminal trial delayed due to the pandemic, the US department of justice said he faces up to 20 years imprisonment if convicted of the charges against him. Sadly, Hushpuppi is seemingly going to be behind bars for longer years as he is linked to a new conspiracy to launder 14.7 million dollars of money and cryptocurrency for North Korean hackers.

On February 17, 2021, the US Justice Department announced more news about HushPuppi’s criminal activities and what will be done about his case.
