I know of the Nag Hammadi texts, and I happen to have read them. I don't believe that they add much value as far as context, nor am I of the idea that they introduce anything new to what is already contained in the New testament, but they were certainly an interesting read.

First, you have to know the Holy Spirit. Without him, we can't see vision. The Bible says, he will show us things to come. And you have to pray and fast frequently. fasting and praying put us more in the realm of the spirit.

Develop a relationship with Jesus Christ and if He wills, he'll begin to show you things.Btw,His Spirit is more than enough.This shouldn't be your main goal though cos if it's your motive for seeking Him,you won't find Him.Every other way you decide to go by to get to see in the spirit,which in new-age terminology is opening the third-eye is of the devil, irrespective of how good or helpful to you and others it seems to be.Trust me,the devil only does seemingly good things to achieve evil in the end.The devil wants your soul.There are only two forces in this world_good and evil.If you decide to do this without Jesus,your life will be miserable.

Very trace similarities, so I would not go around claiming the New Testament is "incomplete". Those extra texts are there for those who are interested and rightly so.
