There is an ongoing bank robbery in Iyin-Ekiti, a town close to the state capital, Ado Ekiti. According to reports reaching us at KikioTolu News, the robbery is ongoing at a WEMA bank branch in the town. There have been sporadic shootings leading to tension in the community. The police is yet to confirm the incident, and several calls put to the police PPRO by Ekiti Progress Update were not answered.
