The Edo PDP has concluded process to file a case challenging the validity of the candidacy of Ize Iyamu in the last Edo State Election. This is as several cases are pending in the court by members of the APC challenging the candidacy of the embattled APC candidate.

The validity of the candidacy of Ize-Iyamu can only be challenged by those in his party (APC).

However, any issue brought now by even members of his party is expired or "soured" because it is a pre-election matter.
