In commemoration of the 2020 World Teachers Day on Monday October 5, President Muhammadu Buhari has approved a special salary scale for teachers across the country. According to reports, the President also extend the number of serving years of Nigerian teachers from 35 years to 40 years, adding 5 more years to the number of years they were to spend in service.
