That is the handwork of corruption, negligence and incompetence on the part of some agencies..eg DPR.
There are too many time bombs waiting to explode in lagos state. Almost every street now has an LPG station which clearly defies the regulations. As long as we value money more than human life, its gonna be disasters all the way.

let me narrate a my last encounter. I had a flat tire and my spare was also bad near a beach. So decided to withdraw from the pos guy around the area. I entered the shop he has 3 businesses in that same shop. Pos withdrawal, gas selling and frozen food. Fear begin catch me as they gas stuff just dey make noise. Collected my money and quickly ran away

thats crazy......the issues of selling gas in or around residential area is getting outta hand....na filling station me i know say dey sell gas back in the day...i no understand why the sudden change.......and when disaster happen na God dem go dey call up and down.....instead of them to do the neccessary......

You think this 'government' is a magic mythical creature that sees and knows all?

I DON'T READ OF GAS EXPLOSION IN UAE OR SAUDI. MEANWHILE WE SEE THE DEVELOPMENT DONE THERE WITH OIL MONEY. ON THE OTHER HAND OUR STORIES ARE ALWAYS OIL MONEY LOOTING OR DEATHS FROM OIL RELATED INCIDENCE.
