Jlow2: Umahis' kiss-ass politics is quite unfortunate really! These bastards have seen how well Ebonyi is doing in infrastructure and agriculture development, and since that doesn't sit well with their bigoted, Igbo-hating ass they send down their bastard herdsmen to go scatter proceedings in the state! And Umahi isn't saying anything because he wants to endear himself to the Fulani with an eye on 2023 presidential elections! A classic case of throwing your people under the bus for personal gain! |

dre11:This is the point! Why destroy farmlands at all? Why can't the herders herd their cows in the North and leave hour farmlands alone? This if just so irritating. They destroy acres of farmlands and pay farmers stipend because if you don't take what they offer, no one will help you, not even your governor because they are too scared to offend the Northern masters. How are we going to have sufficient rice at this rate? I just don't get this one Nigeria sob story Is it not possible for farmers sacrifice a few acres of farmlands by spraying deadly insecticide on the crops as a trap or they put some of the jazz they use to harm their 'enemies' around the farmlands so that any cow that crosses the line will peme? 1 Like |

/ The farmers are not helpless. They are not being proactive. What does it take to spray some bottles of Sniper on the grazing area, then sit back and watch miracle happen?. Self help is always the best defense in a lawless society. / 1 Like |

Strange country where cattle rearers pretend they don’t know that cattle are no longer reared by wandering about in bushes, but now reared in enclosed farms. Abeg, Biafra sovereign country is the solution, not political restructuring. If you restructure, will that prevent Fulani cattle rearers from still wandering about with cattle into peoples farms in the south of Nigeria?

They say south east is smaller than Niger State, but you have flocks of cows gallivanting all over the forests of the tiny eastern region. The question is, what are they doing in the east when they have massive arable lands in Nigeria's north? |
