A Nigerian man has renounced his nationality after he got into the United States Navy and he gave his reason for taking such an action. According to the man known as Aregbesola, he was jobless for years in his country of birth (Nigeria), however the U.S found potentials in him and he’s now a better person. His post read ; I was jobless for so many years, my country of birth (Nigeria, now renounced) failed me, but the U.S NAVY saw potentials in me and made me a fine ass sailor, working on Jet engines. Other working countries and societies will say let's make America , Germany etc great again... As far as Nigeria is concerned I'd say let's sell Nigeria it to Canada and share the profits. They will maage the country well. It has failed every one of us. Words like Good Health care , employment with benefits etc sound strange in this part of the world. |

It's easier to join the UNITED STATES ARMY or NAVY as a Nigerian, than to be recruited into the Nigerian Fire Service or NSCDC as the same Nigerian. However, it's more difficult to enter the United States legally than to enter Nigeria & stay there permanently. 3 Likes |

RENOWNED2: There is no heroism in dying with your dreams unfulfilled because the system is configured to exclude the multitude and benefitting a few. Nigeria as it is, is an enabler of pessimism. |

Pavore9: He shouldn't have to die with his dreams unfulfilled. Status quo will remain until they are challenged and he wasn't brave enough to do so. He is a coward, end of!! |
