HONORABLE PRINCE OLAIDE AKINREMI MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY REPRESENTING IBADAN NORTH FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY IN OYO STATE.
HON AKINREMI WELFARE INTERVENTION.


(1) He facilitated two (2) boreholes with nine (9) pumps capacity with land space.


(2) He expended N4.6 million on food and needs of vulnerable groups.


(3) He donated his two (2) months full salary to fight COVID-19 in the country.


(4) He contributed to the constituency COVID-19 palliatives in term of distribution of food and relief packages to constituents with over 5000 families.

(5) He appealed through his office to the federal government not to stop or withdraw the services of standard organization of Nigeria (SON) and NAFDAC from our ports and boarders in order not to expose Nigerians to danger of fake food and drugs in the country.

(6) He made indirect intervention in the internal wrangling between members of the Oyo state transport union and called for dialogue and allow peace to reign in the interest of the citizens of the state.

(7)He appealed to the federal government to reconsider its decision on the hike of petroleum prices in the interest of the citizen that are just coming from the effect of COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

(He urged government to consider the citizens welfare and safety and rehabilitate the major roads to reduce the rate of untimely death of our people through road accident in the country.

(9)He condemned rape,
drug abuse and police brutality on the innocent citizens and urged government to revisit the existing law and make a more stringent and strong law against the acts.


(10)He was among the front liners that agitated and make possible the establishment of the south west security network codenamed "AMOTEKUN" which was launched on 9th of January, 2020 in Ibadan.

(11)He communicated to the state and federal government to invest in agriculture ,he also reached out to the house committee on agriculture to act on the increase in food supply to the people by liaising with minister of agriculture.

(12) He forwarded recommendations to all ministries and agencies concern with agriculture ,food production and supply in all states of the federation to act on food shortage in the country before it is too late.

(13) He urged the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to lay a lasting legacy and write his name in the sands of time by putting in place policy that will see the end of FSARS as well as the needed revamp of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
