There is hunger and unemployment in the land, the govt didn't care to tackles that, instead they went on to increase and hike electricity tarrif, fuel price, tax etc making life more unbearable. And to worse it all SARS are killing the aggressive and angry youths daily.

With the look of things #endSARS is not just all about End SARS people are tired of the way things are going on and the govt cares not.

If the govt knows what is looming they would have find away of attending to this issue but they wouldn't because of their I don't care lifestyle.

That Lady up there is mean! Lolz

Come to think of it ...this protest is made a lot more easier to vent the long surpressed hardships and pains of the ever growing youth population considering the wearing of FACE MASK compultion due to the pandemic.

As you protest makes sure you vent your anger against police brutality with the right # tags and placards like that lady up there with her apt inscription directed to the President Buhari.

#If 600yrs shame is not felt by the President with all the economic inadequacies biting the masses wetin we gain!!!! Lolz

Pls let change the #EndSars to #EndPoliceBrutality

NAIRALAND should help replace #EndSars to #EndPoliceBrutality

Anyone posting on social media should please start posting #EndPoliceBrutality not #EndSars.

Thank you

I thought this SARS has been dissolved? What are they still clamouring for? I'd prefer they change the protest to something else. Maybe Endasuu strike or end bad governance.

The entire protests thing has been hijacked now. It doesnt make any sense anymore. Yall asked for a BAN on the police unit, you got the BAN you asked for, what else do yall want? Now musicians and actors are using these protests to promote themselves and their dwindling music careers- who doesn't want to be relevant? Do these people yall flock around even know anything about how to govern? Can they govern their homes, let alone their city, state and nation? Because they sang one or two songs that u liked, their voice is enough to block all roads and stop others from their livelihoods?

Fela is one legend many will never forget. His approach is different from how these new musicians chose to promote themselves. Just yesterday, Davido was shivering at the IG's office, defending himself. He doesn't want to go to jail. Naira marley too that created his Marlians is scared of protesting because him mama warned him and he doesn't want to get locked up again. Who no get mama amongst these ones following these people around? Why allow urself to be used by others that only care about themselves, their careers and their pockets?

If SARS wasn't scrapped, all these people pushing others to the streets will accept offers to be SARS ambassadors. Why? Its money talking. The quest for wealth and even more wealth after being wealthy drives many things, unfortunately, its the hungry ones on the streets that end up being the pawns.

Why can't they all choose one day for a protest and everyone that support the idea can join them? Now they all decided to choose different days, as if they're choosing dates for their next concert, and some idiots rally around them like they can't be silenced by money. What happened to Charlie Boy - he lost his relevance when Keyamo paid him on APCs behalf, these same new ones will do the same one money is placed on their table. Everybody wants to cashout.

Sincerely, I really think military regime is what Nigeria needs, not democracy. If this is not demonstration of craze, what is this? People can't get to their jobs on time, because yall are blocking the roads? Those sponsoring yall will only pull the trigger and let the block-heads continue. Runtown/falz/Tiwa/Don Jazzy/others pulled their triggers last week, they are in their houses chilling now, the hungry ones are on the streets chanting. If this is a way to promote their next album, those on the streets chanting now will be the first to dance to it.

Use ur heads. Protests will only achieve a tiny piece of what Nigeria needs, the higher option to protests is your vote. Many of yall sold your votes for N500, elected the wrong people in and now chanting over the result of what u voted for. We need to use our brains all the time, not sometimes. Ironically, some of us just don't use it at all and blame others for the result of our actions and inaction. Grow up folks!
