Chinenye what dialect was the woman speaking in that video? Is it Ngwa?
Re: Videos And Sounds of People Speaking Igbo by ChinenyeN(m): 1:44am On Sep 19, 2011
No, it's Echee, but Echee and Ngwa are very much alike.

Honestly, the only thing I can say that I understood from that video, Chyz was "moto", "bia", "nwata" and "officer". grin
Re: Videos And Sounds of People Speaking Igbo by ezeagu(m): 6:13pm On Sep 20, 2011
The only part that I could fully understand was 5:19 to 5:45. They tried with not using foreign words.
Re: Videos And Sounds of People Speaking Igbo by odumchi: 8:00pm On Sep 20, 2011
Oh ok thanks Chyz.

I understood a bit of the beginning.

Okada: Ke onye n'agba moto a kaffanku? (who's driving this oversized car)

Man: Nwatta (you don't see?)

Okada: motto a o kaffa ndum? (Is this car worth more than my life?)

That was the bit that I was able to decipher. I understood what was said in small bits but I must admit their dialect and accent is strong. Chyz Biko bia kowaranyi ihe ha n'ekwu grin
