Much as it is nice to have a plastic copy of one's ID card, it isn't half as important as being registered in the database.

How can this be. I registered in 2014 and I am yet to receive my card. The National Identity Number has been politicized. They keep transferring it from one ministry to the other. In well organized country,it is domiciled in Ministry of Internal or Home Affairs because it is a symbol of national pride.

It's there. Check it all over it's written on it. Without it your card is useless.
