End SARS: NCDC sends message to protesters

As protests continue despite the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) warns protesters to be mindful of the risk of getting COVID-19 infection.

The Director-General of NCDC, Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu, gave the warning on Thursday at the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 Media Briefing in Abuja.

Recall that demonstrations against police brutality have taken place in cities across the country in the past week.

The Covid is not over and people must know it.
Yes the corrupt crew in Government exploited the covid situation doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
I heard a lot of people confess contacting covid and they got better so its important to be careful.
The protest is one of the reason US covid numbers are high.
