Your apologies hold no water in this time Mr man.
It took you and your cronies days to respond to the cry of the people you govern. After it had garnered attention from the international community.

SHAME ON YOU !

SHAME ON APC !

SHAME ON PDP !

SHAME ON NIGERIAN POLITICIANS !

This time we the leaders of tomorrow today are not interested in your familiar empty promises.

We the YOUTHS are taking the initiative, steps and actions to restore the glory of our land.

Remember you called us LAZY; but guess what? We are now actively involved cheesy

Femi Adesina and Garba Sheu come to mind, always spewing rubbish. That Femi especially sounds like he has no trace of empathy for ordinary Nigerians.

Apt and mature response! Unlike bmc, GARBAGE shehu, femi MUMUSHINA, etc..

... I know you'll have done better without buhari, cabals, Mr bourdillon etc....

But resignation is far better than soiling your name and reputation by association!

Alot of sensible people in this thread, and I'm shocked about it!

The VP is actually good man but it's a shame he's in the midst of fools.

It must be hard being an osibanjo

Sweet talk! Stop foot dragging already. Just do the needful and there would be peace for both the government and the the governed. No dogo turanchi! We want to see visible action on the part of the government.

By the way, I hope this apology has the consent and approval of King Pharaoh of Aso Rock.

Whatever be the case, the Nigerian youth and, indeed, the Nigerian people have at least have their voices heard loud and clear for the very time since the return of our so-called democracy.

I think that what the VP meant by his assertion, it is quite normal to be but it's just a way of life. The America's black life matter saw a number of casualties and I hope this don't equal to theirs.

The more we have people like Osinbajo who is resolutely commited to reforming the police the better and the implementation as regard who take up the tactical unit would be effectively selected

Bro, I don't see any commitment from Osibanjo. That man is just a green snake under the green grass, he may even likely be worsed than Buhari if seen the opportunity.
A senior pastor who remains mute despite the huge impunity rocking the country, right from Aso Villa, where he practically resides can never be taken serious. He is a coded THIEF!!!!

“I fully understand how many young people feel. Many feel that we have been too silent and have simply not done enough. These feelings of frustration are justified. There are far too many people who have been brutalised at the hands of the police and this is unacceptable. We must take responsibility for protecting young people, even sometimes from those who are paid to protect them.”You do not understand how we feel. So, kindly hold your "apology" and do the right thing.

No, sir.

President and the vice president, didnt expect things to turn out this way, they thought everything will calm down, after they ignore what the protesters want, and it turns out that they have to solve the problem at hand, so the Politics of today should change so that the country, youth will be developed and grow more than a foreign country, yes we need the information of anything possible in this country, we dont want to be hearing, there is no light or Bad road, we want to be hearing that we need AI intelligency same as the foreign country, that we will be gone by all this old problem that we have and focus on the future development that we make Nigerians life easy and better...

Where is Mr President.?

I believe VP Osibanjo is apologizing in his own personal capacity and as a father. We really appreciate his sincere apologies and concern.

However, this would have been much better if it was done Mr President on live TV while also taking some drastic actions by sacking the IG.

To him, it's impossible due to wrong advice. If Mr President does not heed to warnings and writings on the wall, this protest as envisaged and prophesied will lead to the unexpected. REVOLUTION.

In fact, don't go to the party yet. If it is the President's Media adviser and Spokesperson, Shehu Garba and Femi Adeshina, you will begin to hear all sorts of nonsense. It is insensitive statements from them that had led to the protest we are having today.

Always thinking they know more than the masses and that the government can still exist without the masses.

Kudos to Osinbajo, he is a true leader.

This is responsible leadership but it would have been more honourable for Mr president himself to make the apology in order to assure the citizens & instill confidence.

We may could be insulted were it to be one of those presidential aides like Garba Shehu, Femi Adeshina, or Lauretta Onochie.Meanwhile, why is there a slow implementation of resolutions of a burning national issue like the #endSARS, #endPoliceBrutality?

Mbuhari and the cabals are too proud and think themselves higher than anything. Na those wey vote dem I blame.

He is part of them. Hd is just trying to be politically correct. FG is not serious about police reform or investigating police/sars brutality. SARS are political assassins. Police is instrument of state oppression against citizens. If national judicial panel of enquiry is set up, I bet you many police officers will be aided by states to flee the country. Some police officers will be killed codedly. Protest may last longer than we think!!!
