I pity our governor sanwo-olu, he find himself in the web of bad leadership... they hijacked his state and he is paying for the sin of the power beyond him, a power put him there and he is subjected to that power... he as stain himself with the Lekki tollgate killing... my advice to him, resign and redeem your dignity... this advice also goes to our Vice-President Osinbajo... if they resign their position they will earn themselves an indelible ink in Nigeria history, we will honor them and respect their person for generations as the first elected position resignation... thay should not make that mistake of "dying there" spirit .. i know is not of our political office holders resigning their elected position but the political system as charged with this event happening, if they refuse to resign they may regret it, the power beyond is really staining them and Nigerian won't spear them if they remain with this blood sucking leaders we have. I call for the resignation of Sanwo-olu and Osinbajo for dignity and honor... #Newnigeria #Newnation #Newleader

majority of those at lekki or even participating in this protest have never witnessed military repression before , even falz that brought ppl out was a suckling during the last ibb must go riot of 1993 and never knew what carnage they can do .
those who knw what could happen kept mute , took their own children out of the country and kept encouraging the masses youth , knowing fully well the implication , they used the youth and the rally for popularity and fame and also to sell themselves to the people so that they will be seen as good men

But why didn't they just obey the cirfew and go home before deadline? This is just so sad.

12 DAYS OF PROTESTS AND FAILED LEADERSHIP

A protest that lasted for twelve (12) days is too long? You argue that the protesters had made their points or they ought to have settled for dialogue/negotiations with the government?

Do you realize that the protest was a call for good governance and better living conditions for all Nigerians?

The evils that the #EndSARS protesters dared to confront are deadlier than the Covid-19 Pandemic. At the height of the Covid-19 Pandemic, the entire nation was on lockdown. Did we not sit at home for months?

Bad Governance and leadership are bigger threats to our existence as a nation. Can we count the number of lives lost daily to bad Governance? Twelve (12) days is too long to fight a virus and evil that is deadlier than Covid-19?

Twelve (12) days is too long to demand better living conditions?

For a government that has continued to let down her youths and citizens, 12 days was a distraction, 12 days they would have spent applying for unnecessary loans, looting and laundering public funds.

I bet the recycled Politicians are not happy and afraid that the Nigerian youths have woken up. They are jittery because the issue making the headlines is not about BBNAIJA or the Premier League but #ENDSARS, #ENDBADGOVERNANCE and calls to cut down the allowances of the Nigerian Senators.

Some of them double as former Governors receiving outrageous salaries from multiple sources. These are the same people who are forcing Nigerian University Lecturers to enrol for IPPIS in the guise of checking multiple payments. Their hypocrisy stinks to the heavens.

Without a prior plan, the peaceful protesters showed leadership, resourcefulness and accountability. Rather than offer these protesters protection, the government authorities for reasons best known to them let hoodlums and thugs on the loose.

The Nigerian government could not provide commendable leadership for 12 days, just as they haven’t in decades. The protesters demanded good Governance, they were declared enemies of the state, shot at and killed.

If the curfew imposed by the Lagos State government has achieved anything, it is bloodletting, trauma and negative history; an outcome that underscores a failure of leadership.

I salute the courage and bravery of all the young men and women who put their lives on the line to protest peacefully and demand responsible leadership.

There is a lot that must end in Nigeria;
#ENDSARS
#ENDQUOTASYSTEM
#ENDCORRUPTION
#ENDNEPOTISM
#ENDRECYCLED&FAILEDLEADERS

Most importantly, in the election year (2023), the Nigerian Youths must come out en-masse to vote out recycled leaders who continue to see Nigeria as a cash cow.

May the souls of the faithful departed through the mercies of God rest in Peace.

I totally condemn the attacks on the peacefully protesting youths at the Leki toll gate yesterday. However, some pertinent questions must be answered.
What if Tinubu was responsible for the mayhem?
What if it was political manipulations to end Tinubu's reign in Lagos?
What if it was directed at taking Lagos by force in 2023?
What if Tinubu did not have a hand in the killings?
What if the north is responsible for this political manipulations in preparation for 2023 to crush Tinubu's presidential ambition so that the north can retain power by all means?
What if Buhari ordered the Army to shoot knowingfully well that Army will never get involved in issues like this except an order is given?
Why has Buhari not spoken or address the country?
What if some , what if....so many questions need to be answered
#themonstersyoumade
The north and tinubu are all bedfellows .....If the north think they will rule this country then they are mistaken.....

Their divide and rule tactics has failed this time.......
No more old men again......
No more APC OR PDP OR ANY USELESS POLITICAL PARTIES......THEY ARE ALL THE SAME

They were told by the elders who witnessed it.Nobody is pushing anyone to protest. They are doing it on poor governance.Imagine a lawmaker receiving #30m monthly while the parents of these youth are begging for #30k minimum wage and the government is doing shakara. Some of these youth have even lost their jobs with no hope of getting another job.If them do yahoo plus them go say them dey lazy.

The unsettled Spirit of Asaba massacre just descended on Lekki.

Waving of flags, fear, tension before being mowed down by green demons.
Just like Buhari, tribal bigots like you are dangerous to human existence. So those people killed yesterday were mainly of Yoruba and Hausa extraction?

The Nigerian Army disrespected the Nigerian Flag. The Lekki protesters were peaceful, they sat down on the floor and waved hundreds of the Nigerian flag, yet the bullets rained on them.

honestly i blame the older generation that pushed and encouraged these youth , young boys and girls to their untimely death, the older generation failed this present day youth. anyone above 40 years old already knew what was going to happen once the military steps in ,

but yet they kept encouraging the boys to keep up the protest despite the military warnings last week that they were stepping in this week , it wasn't until the military had stepped in that they started telling the youth to leave , which wasn't possible , if all those who spoke yesterday urging the youths to leave the streets and even falz who later made a late call , if they had made that call to the youths last week definitely the youth would have left the streets and all these wouldn't have happened .
we all know the military that whenever they step into civil disobedience matters ,to quell it , they always leave sorrows tears and blood , just like fela said
mr man you don't know what are saying. i what to ask you. are we in military regime? in nigerian we are practice federal system of government not military system of government. the state as no right to bring in military to shoot unarmed civilian. precisely we are not in war front. the youth are asking for good government not bad government.

Because they under-estimated the callousness of their wicked government and failed to understand that the govt don't play by the rules.

To me: there's nothing tyrant buhari would say now that will make sense to any sane human being.
They even have to beg a president to address his people in such a disastrous moment.
History will never be kind to that Animal.

Their innocence is true, they believed they were dealing with some reasonable fellows, not seeing the signs that our leaders are thoroughly evil and are used to spilling of innocent blood.
