As military head of state in the 80's buhari was overthrown by his military colleagues specifically because of his insensitivity/tribalism, sectionalism; refusing to listen or take advice, impunity, injustice and failed policies.

Fast forward to 2015; Buhari was repackaged and sold to nigerians as a changed democrat by Tinubu and co.

But as soon as Buhari came to power; insensitivity to nigeria's diversity; nepotism, impunity, constitutional violations, failed policies etc became hallmarks of his administration.

All those who advised him to toe a different part were routinely derided and abused by a president who refused to listen.
