How does this put food on the common man's table? How does it bring down prices of food stuff? How does it bring about jobs for the unemployed youths? This is totally out of point. Even if an average police is paid 1million it won't stop him or her from collecting bribe .

22. In the circumstances, I would like to appeal to protesters to note and take advantage of the various well-thought-out initiatives of this administration designed to make their lives better and more meaningful, and resist the temptation of being used by some subversive elements to cause chaos with the aim of truncating our nascent democracy.

I find this statement disturbing.

Not confusing to me sha, abi how can we explain the sudden destruction of both private and public property.

We only need to go back and restrategize.

God bless you PMB. You are indeed a God sent to salvage our people.

We the Nigerian masses live you Baba. Only the illitrates filled with hate will never see anything good in you.

Baba I tender an unreserved apology on behalf of the Nigerian youths for the recent unrest.

We are sorry and we assure you it won't happen again.

May God continue to give you the grace and wisdom to lead us to the promise land.

So with these multiple crisis, this is the beat the president could give? Nnamdi Kanu it seems you are right about this Jubril theory ooo

What do want the president to do. All demands cant be treated same time.

Lets give the govt some time to treat all our demands.

This is a step in the right direction.

God bless PMB

Guys be careful of this moniker and the likes here on nairaland. Do not allow paid low ass modafvckers to spite you against your fellow youths out there. Either yoruba, Hausa or Igbo, we now have a common Goal; we youths are now more united than ever before. We are all in this together! Even the Hausa youths are protesting! So we have passed that stage of petty tribal wars

Do not reply them and Act as though they do not exist. Then watch them disappear into oblivion. Thanks
Thank you brother. You have spoken well. The useless he goats in the minority are the ones causing discordant tunes in the camp of their superior tribes. Hausa, Ibo and Yoruba are one. Lets behave well here.

For over 20 years Nigerian are complaining of Police Brutality.
BabaOwen:
Nigerians have been crying and crying for the past 4-5 years about Police brutality. If the government had taken the issue of Police brutality serious, we won't be where we are today.

There was a report the FG had with them since 2018, if not for this protest, they forgot all about the report.

Nigerian politicians have been taken us for a fool.

Now I know we don't HV a president, after watching and reading his speech, I came to realize that we are on autopilot.
How could a sensible element be campaigning in the name of speech.
All buhari did was campaign.

Are you kidding me? Dude are you in Nigeria? Or are you a kid? The extortions from police have nothing to do with their salary. They make returns to the CP and IGP. This is what we expected the President to address which he hasn't. What it means is that the extortion will continue because it is a direct order from above.
