1. The young Turks of yoruba land who want to replace Bola Tinubu ( Fayemi etc..)
2. The Northern hegemony and their anachronistic southern allies ( they are the ones in this meeting) who want to retain feudalistic rule over Nigeria and who are frightened at what could happen if all youth take their place
3. The local mobsters of the NURTW who are fighting for leadership between MC Oluomo and "Poly"

These three groups are counting on the weak thinking of the rest of the population, their ethnic hatred, their petty jealousies and envies to produce the combustion.

We can't beat this old bloods with gragra...i lost support for the whole protest after that Sunday and I told my wife that after Sunday there would be trouble.

For me it's not just about the properties destroyed but about the lives wasted. Nothing is bringing them back. Gone!

Intact, they really really ransacked and scattered d place.

Oga, u ll cry more. Before now, the Special Armed Robbery Squad were disbanded on more than 3 different occasions, but we kept seeing them, they kept robbing us and killing us.
Immediately they disbanded SARS, they reformed them by giving them a new name, SWAT.
From what we saw, and what they did, they were not ready to reform the Nigeria police genuinely. During the covid 19 shut down, we saw how billions of naira was used to feed school children who were at home, school fees were paid for students studying abroad when the schools abroad were on luckdown. It was too obvious our leaders took us for fool and it appars so, because of people like you who have refused to be sensible and be responsible too.
So, if the protest continued, it wasnt our fault, it was because our leaders wanted it, they have lost and abused the trust reposed on them. it is not our fault. there was no justification for militarising the streets of lagos, it was a peaceful outing and protest by the youths until the government murderd sleep.
We all must now keep awake, no sleep for them, no sleep for us. we all must be awake untill we arrive our destination.

President jonathan may be seen as an icon of peace but he is not a man with great principles. There were so much negative influence on him during his time in office which consequently turn that administration into a looting regime. Nigeria need a leader with firm principles whose intention is to overhaul and reform the unacceptable ways that both government and public affairs are run in the country, not a leader who will timidly follow the footstep of his predecessors.
