politicians that stole billions of dollars, they are never arraigned and you will never see their news on the national televisions, to talk more of seeing their faces on crime fighter poor man who was driven by hunger to take the palliatives donated because of him without the authorization to do so has now become a criminal. now the question is what stop's the authorities in charge from sharing these food items since the lockdown period when the poor masses are dieing of hunger. or are they waiting until we develop stomach ulcer? |

Our security operatives are not aware that there is high level poverty and insecurity in the land. This is what this people are practically trying to teach them. But it's sad that they are yet to understand what is going on. |

chatinent: We are talking about people who broke in and looted their fellow struggling and hustling Nigerian's investments and hard earned money... Politicians and leaders are criminals, but that doesn't make what these ones did any better!!! |
Re: Security Operatives Parade Looters In Osun (Photos) by Ekpekaycee: 5:26pm On Oct 25, 2020 |
I have always said it that the difference between the politicians who steal in billions and this petty thieves is in the opportunity. Most people protesting against the politicians will do same If given the opportunity. Greed is simply in the DNA of black man. |

bluefilm: The average Nigerian is wicked, vindictive, and envious!!! Last xenophobia issue, people attacked and looted shops within malls belonging to their fellow Nigerians, all in the name of protesting against South Africa... These are people who have lived around these shops for years without patronizing them... But, as soon as they hear protest, they zero in on the same shops they watched grow from scratch to loot and bring to the dust!!! I fear the average Nigerian mind!!!... This is nothing but witchcraft!!!! Looting and destroying someone's property or business all because the person is more successful than you are in life, not because he or she stole tax payers money or is involved in government. 1 Like |

nograv: You mean the poor who made it a point of duty to loot and destroy businesses owned by non government individuals who also happen to employ their fellow poor?!!... Such poor people are worse than their leaders. This is wickedness!!! This witchcraft!!! Poverty is no excuse for such evil!!! These ones will do far worse if they have bigger opportunities. 1 Like |

Angelfrost: I am actually wealthy and I always say but for the grace of the poor go I.. Look their condition is because of bad governance. You don't see the poor of UAE (aka Dubai/Abu Dhabi or Singapore ) acting like this. Why? because great leaders like Sheik Al Maktoum and Lee Kuan Yew developed their nations so all benefited and had a good chance at life. In Nigeria the political class and their rich cronies have done little for the average Nigerian. So if they finally revolt and take what they feel is theirs so be it. I have posted many a times that I have warned family members that simply saying I am fine is not enough. All must have a fair chance to prosper in Naija and they dont.. So I cannot blame a poor man if he seizes what he believes is his. I can condemn a rich man for not sharing and trying to accumulate even more; that's just greed a sin in almost all religions.. |

nograv: Great points... However, you can agree with me that this is not the only nation with poor people coexisting in the midst of wealthy entrepreneurs!!! There is a clear difference between revolting against the corrupt wealthy and maliciously plundering the sweat of others! This is beyond life station or statuses... This is a glaring absence of morality!!! In a moral society the poor in such times will even help safeguard the properties of the non corrupt wealthy, with clear distinctions made. |
