I can't trust this people, I still don't know why!!!...what happened to falz?

Whatever will end up happening to these people can also happen with Falz if he was chosen to be with them.

It's Nigeria we're still talking about here.

Big mistake as they might be threatened to not speak out.

Meanwhile, Mr Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa has made it known that he is not collecting any allowances or any kind of payment for serving on the panel. He said that he is doing it totally for free.

For clarity. Only two (2) people are there for the youth.

You see those civil society people, they are just going to be acting as the voice of “reason”, refusing to tackle the police and the government plainly. They would be neither here nor there for most of the time. The judge, the police officer and the director of the mediation centre are definitely on the side of government. That is for sure.

Protest leaders do not always make good debaters. This is a lesson we are about to learn. Rinu and Temitope are up against old seasoned liars who have manipulated politics for decades and have extensive knowledge of the law.

Majority supported Rinu and Temitope to go there because they were the initiators of the protest in Lagos and they stayed relevant throughout. That is commendable but we are not supposed to reward bold protest leaders with being members of this panel. This is bigger than that.

We need people who can argue against these professional government jobbers. We need people who can argue beyond “give us justice” and actually spar on familiar turf with these old people who have helped politicians hold the country to ransom for ages.

From the list, it is obvious where the allegiances lie.

Honestly, I really wish Falz didn’t reject this. The police officer has already shown his hand. He is there to frustrate petitioners and to support the actions of police.

How come 75% of the panelists are Yoruba? Thought they said Lagos is no man's land. Foolish people.
Re: Meet The Members Of The Lagos Judicial Panel On SARS. by proff010: 10:39pm On Oct 27, 2020
Bravo...
Throwback:
There is a reason no reasonable protester wants to be identified as the leader of the protests.

It is this same reason none of them wanted to speak up on CNN despite the news channel reaching out to a couple of them, until Falz and Aisha Yesufu took up the challenge.

It is the same reason it took some time to get these 2 mentioned protesters (Rinu and Majekodunmi) as the members of the panel. I assure you that they were not the only ones contacted.

Let me not keep you in suspense.

No rational, record processing, data reviewing human can successfully lead a mob of irrational, illogical and unreasonable Nigerians, and not later become the enemy of your own mob.

You agree to anything from their perceived opposition, you are a sell out who has compromised.

You ask critical questions upon review of hard facts and evidence, they term you as evil minded who has joined the oppressors.

Any decision or conclusion that does not feed them the flesh of their enemies, you are a traitor.

Save to say a mob does not believe in any justice except their own, and they will also instill fear in any member of the mob who might want to evolve any critical thought.

Take this to the bank, Rinu and Majekodunmi have by this sane decision to be part of an investigative panel, demystified themselves as members of a mob and will no longer be welcomed by the time this panel is done discharging its duties.

Some have already began laying the foundations of their excommunication, claiming anyone who is part of this panel would be swimming in money when the task is done.

If you are sane enough, avoid any fraternity with an irrational, data rejecting and intelligence hating mob. A mob doesn't want to be calmed or proven to that they reacted based on misinformation or incomplete data.

A mob is always right, so Rinu and Majekodunmi must ensure that only beer parlour resolutions emanate from that panel, as no one really is interested in the truth because unfounded conclusions have long been reached.

Isn't this the same segalink that disowned the protests as soon as he noticed that he couldn't be the face/leading figure anymore?
Re: Meet The Members Of The Lagos Judicial Panel On SARS. by pacespot(m): 10:52pm On Oct 27, 2020
Only two representatives are going to be fighting for the interests of the youth: Rinu and the last guy, the rest are just serving the vested interests. It appears that segalinks has been compromised lately

Why is DJ Switch not there.

They need to make her part of them so she can be a witness and also tell the judicial panel how she saw soldiers carrying corpse away based on what she said.

That is very important too.

Re: Meet The Members Of The Lagos Judicial Panel On SARS. by pacespot(m): 11:29pm On Oct 27, 2020
This is just a face saving attempt to deflect the focus from the ongoing EndSARS movement. How can you investigate police brutality when the same IG whose boys committed the atrocities, the same army chief of staff, and same ministers and commissioners are still sitting on the thrones? You are practically asking the system to investigate itself.

I think until the president called for a nation-wide referendum, we need to continue with the protest.
