You want thhe DISCOS and GENCOS to give you more light at reduced ellectricity bills?

Bros, if you were running a business selling coke, which you bought at N100 wholesale, at N200 per bottle, so you make a profit of 100 per bottle, and people come and take your coke, and pay you N50 per bottle, instead of the 200 per bottle, where would you make profit to expand stock, buy new stock, pay your staff, pay yourself?

It csts N53 per kwh to generate one unit of power. Government has already forced DISCOS to sell at N25 per Kwh. And you expect them to make profit to improve things?

And by the way, Benin, Togo and Niger that we sell to, they have electricity access at a lower rate than Nigeria. What they do is concentraate the power supply to designated areas. Everyhwere else gets zero power supply.

Nigeria tries to give everybody in this contri power supply...and ends up pleasing no one.
