It's hard, especially in this part of the world.

Lots of childhood indoctrination and brainwashing

At least you're being honest with yourself.

It is not hard - it is just that the amount of knowledge you have consumed is too small compared to the amount of bullshit you have consumed. lay off the bullshit, it has bad for your health wink

Well, there is that, but what happens when you have more "knowledge" and nothing else - that "knowledge" also brewed and distilled in the minds of ordinary men such as yourself, then what? undecided

Let us start naturally - I am making some (public domain) assumptions here

1: All we have around us is DATA whether we see it as structured/unstructured is all a matter of evolving perception... but the fact is data abounds either consciously or subconsciously
2: We consume that data daily through our interactions/non-interactions with our perceived (formed) and unperceived (formless) realities and it is by virtue of the brain's associative learning process, that we compartmentalize these data into KNOWLEDGE cubes or nuggets that we consume to get us around our formed reality in an ordered (but most times haphazard) fashion - This is were majority of everyday folks will remain for a most part of their productive lives as we all have a purpose be it benign or beneficient (all work in-hand to achieve balance/order)
3: Most will remain dependent on the depth of knowledge and never go beyond routine living or surviving this plane of existence and society's multiplicity of formed realities. (belief systems, proven theories of science, philosophy etc... it is a profitable venture)
4: Having brewed and distilled knowledge to the point where our minds expand beyond our formed realities (everyday assumptions limited by the scope of data we have consumed) - we reach the start of a very important milestone that requires that we convert every piece of (purposeful) knowledge into discovering the superconcious/formless reality (WISDOM & UNDERSTANDING) This is where we begin to discover and begin to know (have a revelation of sorts) -we are now on the outside looking in and it can be painfully burdensome trying to relate with people or persons at #3 - you are often thought of as mad, arrogant or knowledge drunk - Society frowns upon excessive consumption of knowledge (of the formless) - women are seen as emotionless racks who will never experience the joy of marriage, men are seen as hopeless erudite scholars who just know stuff and don't do stuff or practitioners of the OCCULT..

Try to remember how you were as a child growing up - yes you will be taught by your parents, guardians, friends, teachers and experiences alike - but it is your responsibility to learn, not by regurgitating what you have been taught but by connecting the dots and forming your own understanding of the what is deemed "UNIVERSAL Truths" - then what? In my opinion, if you have reached that point then it becomes apparent that you require a higher form of transcendent existence in order appreciate the superconcious world ahead of you - more to the point .. this existence/reality is irrelevant.

Wait... what? Wisdom & understanding? Where is it? What society?

undecided So...what value would all that knowledge "brewed and distilled in the minds of men" hold for one such as this?
