Has anybody seen any Nigerian Police Station with a functional telephone line that citizens can call in case of emergency?

Why is the APC and President Muhammadu Buhari not interested in doing a comprehensive police reform for the safety of Nigerians as obtained in developing countries?

The three-digit telephone number "911" has been designated as the "Universal Emergency Number," for citizens throughout the United States to request emergency assistance. It is intended as a nationwide telephone number and gives the public fast and easy access to a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP).

Why can't we have same here?

Only at the Area Commands and State Hqtrs.

Even the ones that are installed in the vehicle, had been abused. They now used Nokia touch for distress calls.

Village man, Police have central command system, they have Control Room in all states command, once you call the Control room, Police central command radios the division closest to you via walkie Talkie secure radio broadcast

Well in Oyo State 615 works 24/7

Control room ; 08181768614, 070555495913

S/he is right. I think u r d ignorant dude here. The Op is talking about functional phone lines in police stations not at zonal commands or police hqtrs. And u know d truth that most police stations don't have. Stop defending this evil govt

It's like this guy swore a pact with the devil to make sure Nigeria is never good.

What evil haven't you supported?

Lekki shooting, you supported killing innocent people.

Rivers killings, you supported killing innocent people.

Now even something as obvious as lack of basic policing infrastructure in Nigeria, you want to support the status quo, asking how many police stations OP has been too. How many does he need to go to before he finds a single phone or computer?

Your aura is hella nasty!

I will briefly attach my residency permit and ATM to my foreign account and take it down so you know I have travelled far and wide

No where in the world have multiple call centre for policing they use central command system

That I decide not to ignorantly spread fake news about Nigeria doesn't make me BMC, I just love my country

Dear Nairalanders, beware of these full-time Syncophants zombies above. They are paid to derail every news using political, ethnic and religious frivolities. Their job is to defend the many evils of the APC government no matter how bad. I pity them sha because it's not easy to sell your conscience for a token of 30k monthly.
