The topic is sensational and what he said is correct even though expression is a problem for him. A policeman is only allowed to use his firearm only when his life is in danger, meaning it should be a LAST RESORT and not just because you have an altercation with someone who refused to give you N50.

He failed to mention that it should be their last resort, which is the one powerful thing to note. There is no denying that policemen across Nigeria are scared and demoralised seeing how angry and destructive some sets of people have been with them in the past three weeks.

The self defence act is important and even worse in the United States. Policemen are humans but always fail to remember this when dealing with unarmed folks.

Let us try and get a copy of all the law enforcement agencies in Nigeria and read them up. By this, we can be guided in our actions.

In Europe, America and all over if you physically attack a police officer you will be shot immediately.
