US Election: When & Why Did US Adopt Electoral College Instead Of People Votes by Nobody: 8:43am On Nov 05, 2020 |
Following the ongoing US elections, this curious question came to my mind. Just as in the 2016, Hillary Clinton won more people votes (65,853million) as against Trump's 62.9m.. But Trump won more college votes 304 to Clinton 227. So folks knowledgeable in US politics please explain to us reason why the US adopted this voting system. (I guess she's the only country in the world to do this) This topic was created for general knowledge consumption. No knowledge is wasted. |
