Too make it in programming is not that hard, Just put 2 and 2 down and you could be making something worth while e.g an app on playstore with 10K+ installs and active users could be generating $1000 - $2500 every month, imagine that, in less than a year, you could make 10M+ if you have more than 1 app with good user base... Tell me what you know how to do, I might guide you on how to create a well recognize Service...
I have idea on what sellable app to build, but have passion and no skill. What can I do?

Lol, how's UI/UX the future when you'll still send the design to a developer to code? UI design have been here since forever, moved from Photoshop to more dedicated tools.

The bolded is not true sha.

Coding might be replaced in the future by computer. So you just upload your UI/UX design into the software and it will code for you.

I'm just surprised no one is talking about PHP, the most powerful and popular programming language yet very easy to learn.
Most of the top websites you use today were built with php, including this Nairaland, Facebook, Google, Instagram, PayPal, just name it. The paystack that was sold for $200 million dollars the other day is built with PHP.

And if you want to equally kill it, learn php and Jquery. Honestly you will build wonders.

One truth is that once you know php very well, other programming language will become very easy to learn because they are all almost same thing.

Going for money and not passion which means you will compromise where it is required to be ethical. No wonder we have a lot of ponzi schemes through the help of programmers.
However, if you won't compromise, then i suggest app development. There's no limit as to what you can achieve.

please anybody that can help me in programming will really be appreciated, I can do anything for free, sweep, clean run errands.

pasisi, I have a Bs.c in computer science, just finished my Nysc, I have knowledge (beginners) on Php, Html5, Javascript, bootstrap, Css, Python.

I have ideas on Angular, RubyonRails and Java.

but I want to be specific on

Python-Django framework on web development (website and web app) will need more tutoring on back-end, that's my biggest headache and my inconsistency because of data and light.

I will still appreciate if given more hacks on front-end.

I stay in Bayelsa state, Yenagoa to be precise.

please help a brother, this country have made me depressed after Nysc with zero income, I manage to afford a Laptop and a good phone from my allawee so I can learn web development.

thanks, Godbless.

But you think coding can be replaced. Coding is art, logic and critical thinking, if you can make a computer that can build scalable distributed systems then you certainly can make one for design grin

If you hear of IBM Watson, you know that it can help you do many complex things without you actually doing the coding yourself

Great inputs so far! Apologies for diverting the thread from its main subject. Please guys, I need more ideas/processes/options on how to set up a platform to enable a school compute : (1) It's staff payroll (2) Students grade and constantly update it(3)an avenue to send these grade(results) ,other messages to their parent via email.

From what I have looked at so far, I would need to deploy Ms Excel and Access.
Thanks

Are you smarter than Google and other big websites that still uses Jquery?

Well you can use vue.js or angula, or whatever. It's a matter of choice but I'm only telling newbies what's going to be less complex for them.

I’ll also like to learn, but I no nothing about programming.

I want to learn though, both graphic designing and I’m taking the first step to get a laptop but I don’t know which one will be better.

Would you be kind enough to recommend a good laptop ? My budget is 100k, thanks.
