Give our local coaches chance, this man only come to take our money, I have not seen any different between him and Nigerian coaches. We pay him in dollars and he take it to his country, hire a Nigerian coach, he remains a Nigerian. 2 Likes |

I expect d otu coach to have been sacked long ago. I began to lose trust in this fucking plumber when we lost to Argentina in the last world cup. He's only good at convincing players of Nigerian descent to chose naija over the abroad teams. Let NFF go for Pep Guardiola or Porchettino |

The recent games we played are not encouraging at all, he needs to sit up, I don't even see the effect of the new players he's bringing to the team. 1 Like |

That groundnut is not a coach. A coach that will remove strikers that were scoring goals because he had a better first half, as if he was playing a friendly game, is that one a coach? Hell no. NFF is just keeping him because of the deal of the dollars they make with him. Useless man. He should be sacked. 1 Like |

This is not the first time the SE would wobble and fumble in a match. Rohr lost it long time ago in the way he handled the team. He has not brought anything special to our football. No playing style nothing. Still the same of the same. Let him go. Nigeria needs a coach to take us to the promise land |

If football, especially international football, once a coach complete a cycle, his job is put under reviewed and decision is made regarding his future. Only exceptional performance earn a coach a contract extension and few person like Joachim Leow of Germany has enjoyed this benefit. Gerhnot Rhor has completed a cycle by taking us to every tournament including nations cup and world cup. In each of this tournament he has done nothing specular, so I see no reason he should keep holding that job other than corrupting. 1 Like |

I’ll sack Rohr if I were NFF boss – Odegbami. Published July 9, 2019 Former national team captain, Segun Odegbami, says he would have sacked Gernot Rohr after Nigeria’s 2-0 defeat to Madagascar at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations if he were the Nigeria Football Federation boss. Odegbami, a guest on Channels TV programme, Sunrise Daily, on Monday, faulted Rohr’s attitude during Nigeria’s matches, saying the coach was “too relaxed” even when the Nigerian team were losing. The ‘Mathematical’ Odegbami advised the NFF to consider a vocal coach in their next appointment. “If I was in charge of Nigerian football, Gernot Rohr would have been on his way home,” Odegbami said during the interview. “I’m sorry that is a bit harsh, but you could see how he selected players, particularly in that match against Madagascar. We could have been out of this competition now, because of his selection of players for that match. “See coaches like Jurgen Klopp, Jose Mourinho, they are the 12th players. They are by the side of the field, they are directing their players. “They are shouting on referees, they are doing things. That is the sort of thing Nigerian players need. “Nigerian players don’t want somebody who will just sit quietly and not say a word. They won’t hear his voice. You won’t help them with difficulty. “Our nature is to be loud, to be compelled and driven to the wall. Our nature is not to just relax.” https://punchng.com/ill-sack-rohr-if-i-were-nff-boss-odegbami/ 2 Likes |

Steven Ikechukwu Keshi is far better than this Rohr, we have enough players but to use them is his problem.... Abeg we don't need old man again jawe Abi Buhari incapable governce affect Rohr too 1 Like |

I would emphatically reply, NO! Rohr has continued to demonstrate a lack of tactical nous which makes him a misfit for a proud football playing nation as Nigeria. There is an evident lack of structure and competition in the national team; and this was displayed by the shambolic performance of last Friday. Those who saw Westerhof at work in Nigeria know that our football has taken a turn for the worst under Rohr. Below are a list of results Rohr has earned against teams that previously Nigeria had never lost to, not even under our indigenous coaches: Nigeria 0 - 2 South Africa Nigeria 0 - 2 Madagascar Sierra Leone has played out 3 draws with nigeria all in Freetown, but they made history by not losing in Nigeria for the first time. |
