Greenback: There's no Yoruba man living in Lagos that doesn't know that the touts are Tinubu boys. Aside from traffic, those idiots are the biggest problem of Lagos. You dare not challenge them! When Ambode wanted to clean up their mess with government-owned minibuses, Tinubu and co ganged up against him and removed him Those boys are good for snatching ballot boxes and causing electoral violence. I am glad that some Yoruba elders have grown some balls to demand that the right thing be done. 5 Likes 1 Share |

even me don't like them but their end will be a danger to the occupants of Lagos, their will be high level of insecurities many of these men have wives and they don't have any vocational skills, how do you want them to feed if you takeaway their only source of livelihood? taking away their livelihood is equivalent to taking away Lagosians peace they should be reformed and not discarded that would caused another huge securities budget |

Are they going to also call for the scrap of Pengassan, Nubife, ASUU, NASU and all CDAs and CDCs? I don't get? Government is lacking in its own responsibility to properly regulate the Unions and you want it take it out on others, why? the same government officials find some of their members as a willing tool to unleash terror sometimes, because they have a lot of members the society have dealt badly with and they are happy to bring other people down to their own sad realities of life, not all of them though. NURTW as a union benefited our society a lot, sadly they have not embraced PR and effective Marketing to tell their own story, making other people to tell their story for them. Scrap which union? Do they realise how many people they will be throwing out of job? Should anybody contemplate that, I will advise their leadership to approach the court. Why not Scrap APC and PDP for the violence during electioneering campaigns and the huge embezzlement during their respective reigns? To me, this call amount to intellectual laziness, how can we regulate them better to reduce their nefarious activities without throwing away the gains from the union, should be what these concerned people be submitting not closing their own space. My take |

Lagos should immediately reform activity of Nurtw like a modern state fee should be collected only in park just one one ticket in a day and can be use on mainland one ticket for island 70 percent revenue to direct government purse 30 percent to run the union and officers collecting should be paid salaries 2 Likes |

juvewalex: Apparently they are useless cuz no form of contributions or benefits, neither can they channeled or propose the needs to repair bad roads or manage traffic. I wish a representative or senator can raise this issue at the floor, what's their national role? INEC should handle their logistics to distribute election materials to cut off ties with NURTW. 1 Like |

jiregr8: NURTW as a union benefited our society a lot..... Lemme learn about their benefits in your area. Much I remember some public bus drivers want them off the road. Their activities should be restricted to the park not at every B/stop. Don't miss up NURTW with Public Bus Drivers! 1 Like |
