Edo state dealt with this same issues using Common sense, law and collaboration. Taxes are now being collected from market woman and drivers using technology, a law was also passed stopping the community youths from harassing those who buy lands or build houses and the palace endorsed this firmly.

Lagos can learn from Edo.

Agberos need to be deported back to their state, after NURTW is disbanded, they constitute nuiscance, both on the road, and during elections. Government should round them up, and drop them in their states. We operate federal system, a government must implement laws to secure the state. Lagos must secure its internal borders, too many hoodlums are coming into Lagos to steal kill and destroy, and run back to their bush and hide, our borders should be tightened, anyone coming into Lagos, should be scrutinized, and checked, too many nuiscance arecoming into lagos, this must stop. NURTW is not collecting any public money, they collect dues from their members, not from the public and the last time I checked, all the associations in Nigeria from journalist to medical, engineering associations collect dues from their members on top of whatever they pay in taxes to their respective state and local governments.


Regardless of your hatred for MC, whatever any association or private entity like the NURTW pay their members is their business, not yours or public funds.

I don't see you Igbos cry, rant and shout over the NURTW in your states of about how much they are paying NURTW members in your states.
