I see this everyday and I'm somehow surprised why people do this. Some even use the love reaction on their own posts. Is that not very childish and immature or is there something I'm missing?

It used to be very popular with ladies, but nowadays, guys have joined the fray. I'm always ashamed whenever I see this.

Should one's primary purpose for posting on the social media be to get likes? I think if your post makes sense, your friends or followers would like it. You don't have to be the first to like it yourself.

It's more common with ladies, even when they know that people must surely like their photos. But guys have started to copy it too.

I don't LIKE any post I made and if I realised a post I made doesn't get one single LIKE I will automatically delete it believing that it doesn't make sense that's why it got no LIKE, but if the post is an advert on my business whether people LIKE it or not I will leave it there but I will not LIKE it myself
