Put yourself in Umahi’s shoes and you’ll understand his anger with the PDP. If there’s any state that should speak against the attitude of the party, look no further then Ebonyi. There’s no reason why you should support a party for 21 years with nothing to boast of. That alone is the highest level of stupidity.

Since 1999, Ebonyi state and Enugu have supported the PDP with everything. If Umahi feels it's time to dump the party, no one should castigate him. He understand what the SE want and knows that the PDP cannot offer them that. Despite their loyalty, sacrifice and obedience, the SE is still looked down with disdain. Looking at the arguments of Governor Umahi, the Igbos have not benefited much from supporting the PDP, therefore it's time to part ways.

It’s only those who love stagnancy that will insult Umahi, but Ndigbo as a whole are solidly behind him. I expect the PDP IPOB Aba and P/H Youths to carry out a campaign of calumny against Umahi for daring to leave the camp of Wike their abandoned master.
